Multiple drone strikes hit Kyiv and surrounding region

Russian forces launched a wave of drone strikes targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region, resulting in multiple fires, structural damage, and casualties across several districts. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and local reports, four people including two children were injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district, while an educational institution was hit in the Solomianskyi district. Emergency services quickly extinguished the resulting fires, and officials reported no casualties at the school itself.

Additional impacts were recorded across the capital and neighboring areas, including a strike on a warehouse and an office building fire in Solomianskyi district. Local media reported that air defense units neutralized a significant number of incoming aerial threats during the overnight operation, though falling debris and direct hits damaged high-rise blocks, administrative buildings, and commercial facilities.
