European Crisis TV (ECTV) reports verified crisis news from across Europe: conflict, security incidents, natural disasters, major accidents, infrastructure failures and health emergencies. Our goal is simple: tell readers what is happening, where, and how sure we are.

How we work

Our monitoring desk tracks more than a thousand reports a day from public broadcasters, national and regional media, wire services and official sources in dozens of languages. Reports about the same incident are grouped into one event, scored for confidence and impact, and checked for contradictions. We publish a story only when it is confirmed by several independent outlets, or after an editor has checked it.

Articles are written with AI assistance from those verified reports and reviewed under our editorial and AI policy. Every article shows how many independent sources confirmed it, what is not yet confirmed, and links to original reporting.

Ownership and funding

ECTV is independent and is published by FOP [full name], Ukraine. It is funded by reader memberships, advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and sponsors have no influence on editorial decisions. Banners marked “From our network” promote sister businesses of ECTV's owner: the German Academy for Crisis Management (KMA) and the Dutch Academy for Crisis Management (CMA).
