Erik Ferdinand is the founder and editor-in-chief of European Crisis TV and presents its live broadcasts.
He brings more than 15 years of experience in leadership, crisis management and advisory work across Europe, helping organisations prepare for disruption and take decisions under pressure. His fields are crisis leadership, business continuity, crisis communication and geopolitical and hybrid risk.
He lived and worked in Ukraine before and during Russia's full-scale invasion. That experience shapes how ECTV reports the war: facts first, every claim attributed to its source, and nothing presented as confirmed until it is.
He works in English, Dutch and German. He sets ECTV's editorial rules, leads the ECTV Crisis Desk, where an AI-assisted newsroom drafts and checks stories under his standing editorial brief, and handles corrections and reader complaints himself.
